London 2015 Fashion Weeks Recap

Happy 1 week everyone! Onwards and upwards!

To start, my first London Fashion week… both confounded and amazed me.

And such is the wonderful world of fashion!

First off, My HighlightFelder Felder. A-Mazing. There is always that one designer that just jumps out at you, and while, as with Betsy Johnson, I wouldn’t necessarily wear much of the collection on a daily basis, my inner (and very fashionable) cowgirl can do nothing but applaud the pairing of metallic, cowboy boots, and all around chic-ness!

9ba34d21afb238fa25154856f2c234d5I loved where this dress hit the hips, the material & its movement! Maybe a different pattern just to be picky.

The only designer to really throw me off was Meadham Kirchoff. While I may have built up expectations by browsing through his previous seasons, I think the entire collection as a whole was odd and more shock than artistic.

Favourite Shows: Vivienne Westwood, Orla Kiely, Sibling

Favourite Collections: Julien Macdonald, Richard Nicoll, Ryan Lo,

Before I move onto my individual pieces I wanted to stress how ridiculously amazing these designers did with their entire collections, especially Ryan Lo & Julien Macdonald. I don’t think any one of their pieces disappointed me!

Favourite Pieces:

Fashion hit all the right notes of country on this one! With pesticides strongly affecting pollinator populations the past couple years what better way to celebrate their importance to our agriculture sector than with a beehive bag! ;P
