Fashion Weeks SS24

So here I am, mid November, sitting in the living room of my tiny home, parked at the back of the family farm when the realization that I’d missed the Spring/Summer 2024 Fashion Weeks that had run in September, hit me!

It might seem a bit of an contradiction of lifestyles but really, I think it’s the perfect merger. Fashion is really just the ultimate form of fabrics, from the raw materials so many farmers work so hard to produce like linens, cotton, silks etc.

This season I’m particularly loving the coastal draping, the subtle nods to western style, simple linens, and upscaled office wear pieces. Ralph Lauren seemed to especially resonate, along with a few of these others…

I’ve been playing with the idea of slowly trying to incorporate some higher quality, more intentional pieces into my wardrobe and while my dreams of collecting eggs while lounging in a feather-lined, floor-length robe might be a ways off, this cowgirl’s going to keep on dreaming!

Remember, life is full of beauty and is a constant journey, never stop growing!
